The operating rules for creators, brands and agencies.
Draft for legal review · Updated September 2026
Accounts and verification
Members must provide accurate information, protect their sign-in credentials and complete required contact and administrator verification. FairCollab may request additional information, limit access, suspend or reject accounts when information cannot be verified or marketplace safety is at risk.
Collaboration briefs and deliverables
Brands and agencies must publish lawful, accurate briefs. Creators must accept only work they can deliver. Every collaboration should record the agreed price, content format, quantity, schedule, revision limit, usage rights, disclosure requirements and approval process before work begins.
Payments, service fees and disputes
Where protected payments are enabled, the brand or agency pays through FairCollab’s approved transaction flow. Applicable service fees and taxes must be shown before confirmation. Payment release, refund, cancellation and dispute rules will depend on the licensed payment provider and the final jurisdiction-specific policy.
The current prototype uses simulated payments and must not accept real funds until a production marketplace payment provider, verified webhooks, settlement operations and compliance controls are connected.
Marketplace conduct
No misleading audience figures, counterfeit engagement or impersonation.
No unlawful products, discriminatory targeting, harassment or deceptive advertising claims.
No misuse, scraping, resale or unauthorised disclosure of member information.
Sponsored content must follow the disclosure rules applying to the creator and collaboration location.
Attempts to manipulate rewards, reviews, payments or verification may result in suspension.
Intellectual property and usage rights
Creators retain rights not expressly granted in the agreed collaboration terms. Brands and agencies may use delivered content only within the recorded duration, channels, territories and paid-media permissions. Each member confirms that material they upload is authorised and does not infringe third-party rights.
